1. Let’s Get to Know Each Other
The first visit to a doctor’s office can sometimes seem intimidating, especially for kids. But, your first visit to Adult & Pediatric Orthodontics will be completely painless.
At your first free consultation, you’ll be welcomed by our team, introduced to expert orthodontist Dr. Joanna Yu, and shown around our office. As a mom herself, Dr. Yu knows your life is busy and you don’t need more pressure. She’ll help you and your family find the best treatment path according to your needs and goals.
We will:
- Review your medical and dental history
- Take some digital photos of your teeth to determine what treatments, if any, are right for you
- Help you create a customized treatment plan with an estimated treatment timeline
- Talk you through all of the financial information, insurance options, and payment plan options
2. Making Your Custom Treatment Plan
After reviewing your records, Dr. Joanna Yu will join you in a private consultation room to discuss your individualized and unique treatment plan.
Dr. Yu will point out specific areas of concern and show you what kind of corrections you can expect by showing photos and videos of similar cases.
We’ll always take as much time as you need to answer your questions, and after that, you’ll get an overview of the whole treatment process at Adult & Pediatric Orthodontics .
They’ll explain everything—from scheduling to expected discomfort levels, to finances and payment options.
3. Start Treatment the Same Day
The orthodontic treatment process involves a series of orthodontic visits to Adult & Pediatric Orthodontics. We’ll build a relationship together through your treatment process and Dr. Yu wants you to feel confident that you’re receiving the best care possible.
Once you feel like we've answered all of your questions and concerns, you can start your treatment that same day as your free consultation. We value your time, and we know you want to make the most of your visit to our office in Portland or Windham.
